Queensland Zebra Shrimp

Caridina zebra

General information: A small Caridina shrimps that grows to 20mm in length. They are found in shaded streams from Cardwell to the Barron River in tropical North Queensland.

Cultivation notes : Reported to be easy to keep in a fresh water aquarium. Breeds in pure fresh water, has a few quite large eggs. Easy to feed, eats fish food and other detritus, eats decaying dried leaves once re wetted in aquarium.

Distribution : Tropical North Queensland from Cardwell to Cairns.

Selling details : Sold as individuals at 10mm length or bigger
